Effective March 1, 2008 the price for full costumes will be $575.00 (applies to any new inventory received after March 1). In addition Eman Zaki has announced that Cairo Couture will be the authorized vendor of exclusive designs from her new line, which is currently in the design process. Cairo Couture would like to thank the belly dance community for a fantastic summer, fall, and winter season. We appreciate your continued support and patronage!

HOW DO I PURCHASE A COSTUME?
Purchasing a costume can be done in two ways: via email (cairocouture@gmail.com) or if you are local in the San Francisco Bay Area, you can make an appointment to come by the boutique located in Emeryville, CA. When sending an email, please be sure to provide the item number of the costume(s) you are interested in purchasing. Once you have received a confirmation that the costume is available for purchase, you have 24 hours to send payment. After 24 hours we cannot guarantee availability unless you have requested a courtesy 48 hour hold.
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Personal Checks are accepted from local dancers and for custom orders only.
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES?
We use flat-rate boxes via the US Postal Service which is processed under Priority Mail shipping times. One $9.80 box per costume is used, unless otherwise stated. Insurance is optional and highly recommended, fees are dependent on location. Expedited service is available upon request.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONAL?
We do ship international with the understanding that we cannot be held responsible for any delays, holds, or fees that may be imposed by your respective customs agency. We are also not responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of the customs department inspecting the contents of the package.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final. We are very sorry, but Cairo Couture Boutique is a small business and is unable to handle returns. Please make sure that you have accurate measurements. It is a good idea to have someone else take your measurements.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET NEW INVENTORY?
New inventory generally arrives every 2-3 months with approximately 10 costumes in each shipment. If you are interested in being notified immediately when a new shipment arrives, please send us an email and we will be happy to add you to the email notification list. We can also let you know about any pre-view parties we may be having to present new merchandise.
CAN I PLACE A HOLD ON A COSTUME THAT I WANT?
Yes, upon your request we can place a 48 hour hold on a costume that you are interested in. If payment is not received within that time period, the costume will then become available to the public.
CAN I ORDER AN ITEM THAT HAS BEEN SOLD?
Generally yes, and is most often handled as a custom order. If Eman has the costume in stock that is in your size, you may be able to get it sooner.
WHAT IS THE CUSTOM ORDER PROCESS?
This can be done via email or in person. If you are placing an order via email, please send us your measurements (we suggest having someone else measure you). If this is an item we have on our website, please provide the item number and color request. If this is an item we have not carried please send us a picture of the costume. Custom designs may be requested as well, but please be advised that it is subject to Eman’s interpretation of what it is that you want and may not arrive exactly as you envisioned.
Upon confirmation from us that the custom order can be done, payment is required. Shipping may be paid upon notification of the arrival of your costume.
In our experience, processing time has averaged 1-3 1/2 months, but please be advised that this can be longer depending on many factors outside of our control. We can assure you that we will keep you updated on your order, based on communication from Eman Zaki.
DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN?
Items that have been listed on our site more than 7 days may be paid for via our payment plan. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required and the balance is due in 30 days.
